Ty Andrews is a real “renaissance man”. He is an artist, brand marketer, edutainer, singer/songwriter, musician and producer. He has written and produced a fusion of neo-soul, electronic and dance music with an intention to touch hearts and open minds. Stylistically, Ty delivers a unique flair as an independent artist with the influences of Earth Wind and Fire, Daft Punk and Jamiroquai.

 

Ty came to the forefront of the stage with his debut song and self produced EP, “Letting Go”, a Hindi-inspired anthem about self liberation. In addition to performing as a bandleader and singer for Atlanta-based band Five Star Funk, his latest single release, "Now's the Time" was written to advocate for social justice and world reckoning. It is also the lead single for Ty’s first full album project due to be released in the Fall 2020.

 

With over 20 years experience in the arts and advertising industry, Ty has created impactful content across different mediums. He has served as a brand builder for corporations, and organizations such as St. Joseph Center, BBDO, Centers for Spiritual Living, Florida Lottery, Georgia Lottery, Walmart and Target. 

 

During the pandemic, Ty continued his passion for music by teaching interactive drumming to after-school students and developing DIY Music classes online. Each 15-20 minute DIY Music episode was created for children to access learning about music, other cultures and how to make instruments with recycled household items.
